What´s New

Dear Friends,

It is still time to wish you a sweet and light two thousand and twelve.

As you may know, on the 18th of January, for our members, opened our new art exhibit «Lightness?». We were honored to have the presence of few artists: Pascal Bernier, Ann Veronica Janssens, Pieter Laurens Mol, Thierry Moullié, Raphaël de Villers and Pablo Reinoso. Already on the 19th, visitors have showed their enthusiasm; in three days nearly 400 persons came to visit our house.
Foremost, we would like to thank our members. Since the first day you came in great numbers, and, in your eyes and your comments we saw and heard joy. In this third art exhibit indeed, what mostly strike are, beauty, derision and elusiveness.
We know you will come back, to take even more time to see the works, read the books, play the piano…

A warm thank you to our guests and friends collectors: Pierre Marie Giraud, Alain et Danuté Mallart, Maurice Van Valen whom, at our sides, show their generosity, their sensitivity and their ardor, in their art choices as well as their availability and their kindness.
A thousand thanks to Pablo Reinoso our guest artist. In choosing to show some pieces of works that haven’t been seen for many years, he gives us the opportunity to rediscover his immense talent as a sculptor. He also gives us the privilege to see his last creation as long as works of an artist of his personal collection, thus letting us catch the sight of his private universe.
Last but not least, many thanks to Marcel Croës, his free spirit and his delicacy are so wonderfully expressed in his superb choices of texts paying tribute to the art works shown in «Lightness?».
What a delight to read these texts and musical or films’ references…

Maison Particulière is particularly pleased to pursue its partnership with Pierre Hoet (Instore) and Florence Guillier Bernard along with Jean Marc Dimanche (Maison Parisienne). They allow us, since our first show, to create this special home atmosphere in our space.

Our Patron, Degroof Bank, is at our side since the beginning. And we are delighted each time to unveil for their enthusiastic guests our art exhibit for a preview.

We are proud to announce our next art show, «Struggle(s)» which will start April the 18th.  We will have the opportunity to write more about it later but we can already announce that we are privileged to be an ArtBrussels partner for their program of visits in Belgium during the art fair.

To all of you who haven’t had the chance to come yet, we are happy to welcome you soon.
To all of you who already came to see «Lightness?» you are welcome back with your friends and family. The art exhibit is on show until the 24th of March.
